Note to Self: Cheer up! You can do it! Ajja! Ajja!

We all have our not-so-good days. Mine started the minute we left for Hawaii and is likely to continue for a few more days.Thank goodness we’re talking just days not MONTHS!

Well, It’s sad that I’m having such a tough time handling things around here. BUT I’ve decided not to dwell on the negative side of things. It hasn’t been all that bad really. Anyways, to motivate myself, I came up with an acronym for CHEER UP. Here it is:

Cheer up! Keep your cool. At least it’s just a bad day, not a bad life!
Hang in there! Continue despite the difficulties. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
Enjoy the journey. Laugh, and laugh some more. Be cheerful and don’t be too hard on yourself.
Eat right. Exercise. Nourish yourself.
Remind yourself that every cloud has a silver lining. Every dark situation has a bright side.

Unclutter your life. Simplify pleasures. Eliminate the needless wants. You don’t need that 100th pair of Blahniks.
Pray. Ask for guidance. Faith is a powerful and effective weapon against despair.

Cheer up, GG! Don’t let yourself be in despair. Things are only as bad or as good as you allow yourself to believe. As Dr. Wayne Dyer puts it:  Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it’s always your choice.
